April: Art To Inspiration
This month's Art to Inspiration comes from an artist named Pakayla Rae Biehn whose work is entitled:
Is it bad to have immediately thought of food when I saw this image? Perhaps I was hungry or perhaps it's because I ate too much Mexican food in San Diego where I just returned from, for this is what it brought to mind. In texture, in colour and with the use of negative and positive space.

Hahahhaa! I didn't see the connection, until you did the picture link there! It'd remind me of mexican food too, with all those colours! :D
I know, right??
Oh, I totally love it! I never would have made a connection like that, but it seems so clear to me now. =)
The original piece and your photo are both gorgeous.
Oh Clair! You're such a doll!
Beautiful! That's why I love Art to Inspiration :) I would have never thought of that, but I LOVE the idea!
lovely inspiration -- that food looks so good :) & I love me some Mexican food!!!
Ugh, as soon as I scrolled down to that picture my stomach started to growl. It looks soooo good! I love the graphic you made to go with it!

Well that just looks incredibly delicious! I did not think of food initially, but paired with your yummy pic of Mexican food it's perfect. Good call! I really didn't think Art to Inspiration would make me hungry... but you proved me wrong! So glad you had a fun trip to San Diego {and glad you ate some awesome food, too).
I looove it!!! Of course, it doesn't help that I am super hungry. Such a creative, yummy interpretation. Mexicali it is tonight.
Thanks for posting this as I am JUST allowed to get on solid foods again. #starving
