Thanks everyone! Yes....seeing the Eiffel Tower in person was very very surreal.....my first glimpse of it was through the large windows in the foyer of the Architecture Museum...and I gasped. We didn't realize our hotel was so close to it!
That's a fabulous photo of the Eiffel Tower. I like the contrast between the gloomy sky and the people dressed in colourful clothes. Everyone seems to be stunned by the sight, standing there and admired the Eiffel Tower. It really has a surreal atmosphere.
