Paris: Macarons

So, everyone, and I mean EVERYONE told us to visit Ladurée in Paris for their famous macarons! We found a little kiosk at the  Printemps department store. I was surprised that the lady didn't allow us to take any photographs of it, though.  Also, we decided to save them to eat in the Jardin du Luxembourg, but by then, they were smushed.  We liked the pistachio best. A couple of them tasted like soap. I wish everyone had told us which ones to order.

Those look so good! I am glad you got to go there! Still on my list for next time! I've only tried a macaron once and it was here in the states. It was chocolate lavender. Pretty good. I would love to try some other flavors.
