Boston in B+W

Here's a series from a walk on Cambridge St. towards City Hall.

There was an exhibit of shoes representing the number of deaths (1200) per day due to tobacco related illnesses.
I, of course, thought it was a shoe sale. :(

Wow that is crazy!!! What a unique way to show the effects. I bet it was powerful! And not a shoe sale hehe.

wow, interesting that the shoes were symbolic... but still kind of funny that you thought it was a shoe sale. :)

Wow - gorgeous and moving!
I really love your bike shots - and, as always when you photograph Boston, a taste of home! Thank you so much!

I love black and white photographs with bikes and architecture! I have quite a few of architecture framed. So I love these! I would have probably thought it was a shoe sale too. haha

I love your high contrast black an white images, they bring out the architecture so well. And your eye for wonderful compositions is excellent! Showing how many people lose their lives due to tobacco with all those shoes is incredibly powerful.
