Amsterdam: Alan & Ginnie
Alan and Ginnie are our good friends from Toronto and we were so happy to see them again in Amsterdam in September.
I've introduced you to Alan before, in Stirling, Scotland, where we were hosted by Alan's parents at a glorious garden party.
In Amsterdam we, once again, enjoyed a few pints and saw some sights. Ginnie and I also visited some museums together and had many cups of tea.

Hi Kristina, I moved your comment over - not sure why you couldn't comment over here.
Thanks Sarah and Jaime, I also want that striped shirt and hat :)
That smoke pipe...classic! Beautiful photographs as usual :)
Amazing, amazing portraits. If I were this beautiful couple, I would frame them.
Also, Schneider Weisse is my all-time favorite beer! I drank lots of it in Berlin, watching the European cup in pubs. Wonderful memories. =)
Thanks Peaches and Clair! First time trying Schneider Weisse - very good!
Hello! Thank you for leaving a comment on my blog so that I could discover yours! I love these photos. Ginnie is just gorgeous and they both have great neutral outfits that look fantastic. Wish I had discovered your blog last year before visiting Boston. Could have tried some of your food recommendations! I hope the rest of the week goes well, with the exhibition launch.
Thank you for visiting my blog, and thank you for your sweet comment re: the exhibit - so kind of you. I'm looking forward to more of your photography as well!
Uh oh I think I might have to be on this blog a lot more in my life! Just stumbled across your work via my friend Grace's blog 'Stripes and Sequins' and loving your style. Hogger is a fabulous name too*
That's a wonderful post - and through your images you can really feel what a great time you all had in Amsterdam. I especially like the two portraits at the beginning, the expressions are so natural and the lighting and tones are perfect! But I have to add that your photograph of the cake and cream look absolutely delicious too!
