June: Art to Inspiration
It has taken me a while to get around to doing this month's Art to Inspiration, even though when I first saw this image, I was excited about it because right away an image clicked in my mind of what I wanted to pair it with. I saw the turquoise blue, the hanging objects and immediately knew.
So here it is, folks!
Jill Ricci's Float took me back to the streets of Bombay, India (y'all know how much I love a clothes line!)

Hahhaa you and your clothes line! I like how the little rounds have made it via the clothes line - very subtle but cool! :D
haha oh my gosh i love the hanging clothes reference!
I always really look forward to your Art to Inspiration posts - what a cool parallel you drew here! I love all the layers and textures in your photo, and it totally goes along with Ricci's artist statement where she says "One of the most arresting visuals for me is an old wall layered with papers, graffiti and text," (and a clothesline!). Awesome!
You've done an amazing job, as usual! I love the photo you chose and can see such a parallel between it and the Ricci's piece of art. I'm so glad you got around to posting something - it was worth the wait! :)
