One Year Ago...2012

Happy 2013!

2012 FLEW by, didn't it? Thank you for following along with me on the blog as well as on Instagram and Twitter!

Cheers to a new year full of creating lasting memories and documenting them along the way...

Here's how 2012 panned out...

Most recently, I was honored to photograph this lil' girl. I visited Delhi and London and also photographed my fave family in Toronto.

There were many exciting journeys to Miami, Disney World, Block Island (which was the perfect backdrop for this), NYC, New Haven, Baltimore and Pennsylvania...

I also saw a lot more of New England from the Ether Dome in Boston, to the Celtics and the Bruins playing at TD Garden, to a day trip to Provincetown and the Boston Marathon (no, I didn't run it).

Museum visits were aplenty, I won the New Wing Photo Contest at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, met Mario Testino for his "In Your Face" exhibit at the MFA as well as met Tracy Aiguier at her fashion photography demo.

I covered lots of fashionable people and events like Boston Fashion Week, New York Fashion Weeks with some highlights including covering Alice + Olivia backstage (and meeting Jamie Beck and Kelly Framel!). I loved shooting designers at Neiman Marcus in Boston, and in NYC, attending menswear shows by DressCode Boston, and enjoyed covering an elegant evening for Dress For Sucess. I was invited to check out the new costumes for the Nutcracker at the Boston Ballet, and did some work for Zoora.

I celebrated with a lot of bling from David Yurman and Lux, Bond and Green, Anjolee Diamonds and Lia Sophia.

Met up with lots of talented bloggers in Boston at the ICA, at SOWA market, for a February Meet n Greet, and in NYC, for cupcakes and in New Haven for breakfast.

It was THE year of using Instagram.

Dined with Stir it Up and Linden Square, and the REI camp cooking challenge, and I also shared 2 ways of cooking french toast.

BUT, one of the biggest projects in 2012 and one that I'm most pleased about was the Style Profile for Nashua Soup Kitchen Project, a charitable and collaborative endeavor which turned out to be a huge success this past summer!

I'd love to thank the partcipants who made it possible: Holly in Toronto, Jeff of DressCode Boston, Jaime of La Vie Jaime, Christine of Dela Chic, Amy of CSSpectrum (who also covered some of BFW for me), Dave Chen of Neiman Marcus, Lei Ann of Lei Ann Off Duty, Anne of Adjewelry, and Emily of Books & Liquor. Thank you guys!

And THANK YOU for following along with me this past year. I hope you'll stick around!

Happy New Year to You and Yours from Hogger & Co.!
