Try Zachary's deep dish pizza. Go to the farmer's market on the weekend. Try desserts at Rubicon. The cheapest good quality sushi you'll ever have at sushi house in alameda. My favourite restaurant, "Watergate" moved to "Watercress" I have no idea if the new place is as good/affordable. Buy 3 dozen egg custard tarts at Golden Gate Bakery in Chinatown. Yes, you will eat all of them.

Waaaah!!! I JUST read this now (and we're back from SF) . Funnily, we DID go to Zachary's pizza because Neil used to go there when he lived in Cali, but it was CLOSED on Easter Sunday - and we didn't get a chance to go again :( BOOO!
Didn't know about Rubicon or these custard tarts....mmmm.....next time!
No silly, we went there a long time ago as part of our trip up the coast :P
